Identify Business Opportunities: Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential projects and clients. Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead in the market.
Business Development Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives. Utilize data-driven insights to refine the strategy as necessary.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, address concerns, and offer tailored solutions to maximize customer satisfaction.
Lead Generation and Sales: Generate leads and pursue opportunities for new construction projects. Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to project closing, ensuring effective communication and negotiation.
Proposal Preparation: Prepare compelling and persuasive project proposals, tender documents, and presentations that showcase the company’s capabilities and unique value proposition.
Collaborative Teamwork: Collaborate with the sales team, project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project handover and successful project execution.
Networking and Events: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s network and promote our services.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on sales activities, progress against targets, and market trends. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic actions.
Job Qualifications:
• MBA in Marketing / Sales, Post Grads in Civil Engineering & Construction Management or a related field.
• Proven track record of at least 2 years in business development or sales within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of the construction market, including trends, competitors, and key players.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
