Responsibilities
● Estimates cost for engineering projects based on an analysis of project technical
requirements.
● Collects and analyses all projects costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, and
tooling to ensure estimates are accurate.
● Being a cost estimation engineer should identify and quantifies potential cost
uncertainties to ensure costing models capture the full range of potential costs.
● Updates cost as necessary based on new information and project scope changes.
Tvasta, Chennai
● Utilize cost methodologies and tools and appropriate software models and packages to
prepare and maintain reliable and accurate data.
● Prepare cost break up for individual items taking into account base price and associated
overheads to determine appropriate unitized cost for a product or product assemblies.
● To minimize the cost of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the
required standards and quality
Job Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience.
● Hands on experience in costing projection and estimation for the project execution.
● Sound knowledge on construction techniques
● Experience in working for high value projects
● Basic knowledge on 3D Printing.
