Role:
● Perform and guide the team in detailed design engineering, analysis and calculation on 3D printed structures.
● Must be able to manage a small team and its timely deliverables in a project.
● Apply knowledge and skills to complete routine assignments, organize own work to meet deadlines.
● Lead and guide in clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
● Coordination with other teams and responsible for developing quality products.
● Supports in reviewing & notifying any engineering scope changes as required for project management.
● Understands the interdisciplinary coordination on the project
Key skills:
Structural Analysis & Design:
● Proficient in structural analysis using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAP2000
● Experienced in structural design and load calculations for 3D-printed buildings
● Knowledge of reinforced concrete design and steel structures
3D Printing Construction Technology:
● Experience in 3D concrete printing (3DCP) methods and materials
● Familiar with large-scale additive manufacturing in construction
● Hands-on experience with automated construction printing systems
Material Science & Concrete Technology:
● Knowledge of printable concrete mix design
● Expertise in rheology and setting time optimization for 3D printing
● Understanding of fiber-reinforced concrete for 3D printing
Finite Element Analysis (FEA):
● Competency in FEA for load-bearing analysis of 3D-printed structures
● Simulation and modeling of structural behavior under different loading conditions
Building Codes & Standards:
● Familiarity with IS codes, ACI, Eurocodes for structural integrity
● Knowledge of emerging standards for 3D printed construction compliance
Construction Planning & Execution:
● Experience in site supervision for 3D printed building projects
● Coordination with cross-functional teams for automated construction
● Expert in project scheduling and quality assurance for 3D printing processes
BIM & Digital Construction:
● Proficient in BIM (Building Information Modeling) for 3D printing projects
● Integration of CAD and robotic printing systems
● Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla for structural modeling
Qualification:
● Master degree in structural engineering
● 3-8 years of experience in buildings, precast, connection design, FEM analysis
● Proficient in RCC and Steel structures.
● Software skills ETABS , SAFE, RAM,STAAD Pro, ABAQUS and Ms Office.
● Should be familiar with IS codes and Knowledge in international codes will be an added advantage.
